Orthopedic injuries encompass a wide range of conditions — from sprains, ligament tears, tendon injuries, fractures (after cast removal), to post-surgical recovery. These injuries not only cause pain, but also reduced mobility, weakness, stiffness and compensation in other parts of the body. Whether you’re recovering from a sports injury, a workplace accident, or a surgery, you need more than passive rest. You need targeted care.
We take the time to review your full injury history: what happened, when, what treatments you’ve had, current limitations. Then we assess range of motion, strength, joint stability, compensatory movements, gait (if applicable) and any joint dysfunction. We may coordinate with your surgeon/physician if you’re post-op.
Our orthopedic rehabilitation process includes:
Joint mobilization and adjustments to restore natural movement in affected and compensating joints.
Soft-tissue therapy to address scar tissue, muscle tightness, and adhesions.
Progressive therapeutic exercise and functional training to rebuild strength, proprioception, flexibility and agility specific to your injury.
Movement re-education and ergonomics/work-station adaptation if the injury is work-related.
Many recovery plans stop once surgery or the brunt of healing is over. We go beyond that — focusing on fully regaining function, preventing re-injury and integrating your whole body into the recovery. Our team is committed to guiding you back to the activities you love.
Your initial visit will establish a baseline of where you are now and where you want to go. Early phase: gentle mobilization, reducing pain and swelling. Mid phase: functional strength, mobility drills. Final phase: return to full activity and maintenance. Typical timeline may range from 4-12 weeks or more depending on complexity.
